FoodBank Fundraisers are ordinary people who do extraordinary things to help raise funds to help FoodBank South Africa provide quality food to the hungry. Each R100 (US$15) helps create 160 meals for a food insecure South African.

The stories that appear below tell how our fundraisers use creativity, innovation and sometimes sheer determination to spread the word the hunger is solvable in our lifetime!

Once again, FoodBank South Africa has received a much appreciated funds raised through creativity and fun. Lionel Jacques, Alvin Bird and Sean Beukes challenged themselves to abstain from shaving for the whole month of November, and outdo each other by growing "the Meanest Mo".
