FoodBanks cannot function without the work of our dedicated volunteers, and we invite groups and individuals to contact us to arrange times where you can volunteer at one of our warehouse locations. We currently have four locations (currently Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth). Volunteer opportunities involve work on the FoodBank production line by sorting and preparing food for beneficiary organisations, and defacing and relabelling products for further distribution. We also have opportunities for volunteers wishing to contribute to our awareness campaigns by writing stories, taking video and photographs and any other creative ways of getting our message accross.
