December saw the opening of a food bank in George - FBSA's first in Eden. Of the 17 poorest municipal wards in the Western Cape, 15 are in Eden district.
By treating our beneficiaries, the staff of Barons N1 City in turn received a greater treat.
On May 11, FoodBank Cape Town hosted an agency meeting at Lookout Hill in Khayelitsha. The meeting was attended by about 180 people representing 136 of the 248 agencies that FBSA supports in the Western Cape.
The Spread the Love campaign by Lunch Buddies and Rama demonstrates wonderfully the benefits of partnership between a non-profit and a brand.
